Make Everyday Count

I have this little clip posted next to my bedroom light switch:

"Make Everyday Count.
Because the next few months will go by no matter if you workout or not."

I have been adhering to that pretty well.
However, now I need to substitute the word "workout"
with "keep over eating"!!

I try to think of that saying throughout the day....
It is soooo true, isn't it?

    This is a good reminder that we can only control one day at a time and it does seem sometimes that time flies and the weeks fly by and changes haven't happened so, we need to make TODAY work! emoticon

    So true! emoticon emoticon We can only control today but when we add all the days we get a week, a month, a year.

    Wishing you a healthy and fit week, too!! I can completely relate to the problem of overeating!! That is a constant struggle for me - it seems that I can either do really well with my working out OR my eating in any given week, I have yet to master both... but I am getting better emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Yes we really do... It is so hard to believe how fast time goes and it is disconcerting sometimes that it stops for nothing. Ever.
I haven't checked in for a while. I decided I needed to push through this feeling of being disorganized and flying by the seat of my pants...So I bit the bullet and sat down and planned the week. I didn't allow myself to stop untill the job was done! And man did it take a long time. I did a whole week, (food and fitness). Today I did all the shopping and food prep like washing, soaking, spinning veggies so they are all ready to use. I printed all my meal plans so... just say, anyone in my family wanted to pitch in... they could.
It will be interesting to see if the time was worth it. If I can follow the plan. Right now it feels pretty comforting to know that I at least committed this far.

    You know that is so true!! We should make everyday count, the days do go by anyway, may as well s make them the best that they can be. Make small changes everyday and we get closer to our goals.
