A Trek Through the Woods

Sunday, September 29, 2013

I tried to upload my pictures but I didn't have very good luck. However, I took a neat walk through the woods behind our house today. I hadn't been back there in several years so it was like a new experience. I found a beautiful swamp in the back that I need to return to when the colors come out. I didn't see much wildlife other than chipmunks. I need to remind myself next time not to wear shorts, however. There were lots of branches grabbing at me!!

Sounds like a nice walk! I've always wanted to take walks through the woods. I live in a desert, lol, so I don't really have that choice right now! I'm just waiting for it to cool down some so I can at least walk outside in the park.
