So, I set a goal to get to 150 by the time I leave for China, Oct. 12.
That goal is looking harder to hit, as I lost a pound last week, but am already feeling stalled.
In my usual fashion, was thinking about throwing in the towel. But seriously, even if I lose only a couple more pounds before I leave, that will be a couple pounds lost. The goal is not the issue. Progress is the point, and I have to keep progress, not an arbitrary number in mind.
I will keep at it. I will lose as much as I can by Oct. 12. I might surprise myself. I might not.. But it's not just one goal that matters. It's the long term.
