30-40 pounds to go in 4-6 months

Sunday, September 29, 2013

I have around 4-6 months to lose as much weight as I can. I am hoping for 30-40, of course closer to 40 would be great. Trying to get fit while my hubby is deployed. I am trying for around 2 pounds a week!!! I feel really ready, trying to focus on my kids and health... hopefully it helps time pass and i can look amazing when he gets home. HEY SPARKPEOPLE I AM BACK AND READY TO KICK BUTT!!!!

Your husband is getting deployed? Where is he going? I'm sorry, it is hard but you can do it. When my husband was deployed in 2011 I was really able to lose a lot of weight. I lost 34 pounds in 6 months. It is really the most ideal situation to lose weight because you can focus on yourself and are so motivated to look good when he gets home. Not to mention, I think most soldiers focus on working out while they are gone so that is motivating too!

Good luck girl! I know you can do it. I am working on losing too, at least 5 pounds a month. Let's do it together!

An advice I found good divide your goals into goals for four-six weeks and then start over for the next one.

I am in a challenge that ends at new year but I have divided it into weekly goals - to lose something every week and it is one week at the time.

Six months is probably more realistic. To lose a pound and a half over that course you will lose 36 pounds.
