TUFFer Phase 1 (week 1-4)...begins on Monday, September 30, 2013!
We all have a stronger and a weaker side. This phase will focus on using a single dumbbell to strengthen each side of the body to create a balanced symmetry. I will do strength training M-W-F and HIIT (high intensity interval training) cardio on T-TH for the next four weeks.
I've been hanging around the 165-168 range for about a one year now per the scale and have continued to have a loss of inches which I've been pleased with. I've done some re-evaluation of my goals and made a decision to go for a loss of 10 more pounds to reach a "final" goal weight of 155 - 158. I don't have a "set" time-frame to reach this goal but it is something to work towards each week.
I've been extremely pleased with the reduction in my body fat over the last 5 years! Today, I re-calculated my Body Fat % by taking an average of three different calculators giving a result of 28.83%. With this value, I re-worked what my daily caloric needs should be to help reach the loss of 10 more pounds which requires an increase in calories so I definitely need to EAT up and not down. It's a good thing to re-evaluate stuff from time to time.
