What have I learned while maintaining? Well, I have learned that maintaining requires just as much dedication and diligence as losing.
It is well worth the effort.
I am at the same weight at 12 weeks out as I was when I decided to maintain.
I still measure, I still weigh my food, I still count calories and track fitness.
It is a lifestyle, and it is a wonderful one.
I feel healthy, I very rarely get sick, I feel great, my back never hurts.
I can run over 3 miles, something I never thought I could or would do.
I fit into size 10 pants and medium and sometimes small tops. Again, something I never thought I could do.
I exercise daily.
I walk more than 5 miles a day, usually closer to 7.5 or 8.
It is all due to Spark and my great friends that I have met here and the teams that keep me motivated.
I still tell everyone I can about this website and encourage people to check it out.
Some people stick to it, others fade away shortly after finding out that it takes a lot of determination and dedication to making good choices pretty much every day.
It is not for the faint of heart, but anyone can do this if they set their minds to it.
So to all my spark friends, Thanks for being with me as we go along this journey.
You are all so very wonderful and I appreciate you all.
