Revving up...for my new lifestyle! I spent a good few hours today sorting things for my upcoming freelance lifestyle (yes, this will be a strongly recurring theme of my blogs for the next few months!)
All sorts of things to think about but fitness is strongly on my mind. I would love to find a workout group, community, or even just one or two buddies in the area to workout with. I have done a bit of searching around (including on here) but I don't want to send any feelers out too far in advance. I'd even be tempted to try to organise something myself. Not quite sure what yet but I suspect I will end up organising some sort of freelance group or fitness group in my area. I'm not a natural setter-er up-er, unless no-one else takes the lead. Then I'll do it because I'd rather get things started, even if it's uncomfortable, than just sit around and turn into a hermit which is the alternative.
I'm with my parents for a few day's break at the moment which is really relaxing. I spent a lovely day out on my own today though - starting with a good walk in the sunshine, then a spot of shopping, followed by lunch in my favourite salad cafe and a long afternoon in another cafe. Yesterday I managed to get to a zumba class which is always a great workout, on top of being one of the few activities which makes my brain stop endlessly thinking (about anything beyond the steps!) And tomorrow morning I'm off to the gym with my dad. Let me at that rowing machine! :-)
