dicovery of how to organize my drawers

Sunday, September 29, 2013

I'm so excited! I read somewhere on how to organize tshirts in drawers....

Just finished laundry and thought ok I'm trying this! I have more room and I can see all of my shirt colors at one time! you fold then normal then in half again and lay them on end .... sorta like stacking then in the drawer.

Why didn't someone tell me this years ago?!?!I would have saved myself countless fight with my kids about folding their clothes! Of course it was a mess, they had to dig down for the shirt they wanted, instead of just seeing what they wanted!! Plus I have more room!

I just finished all the drawers in about 40 minutes and I'm so happy with the results! The pictures are looking down from the top into the drawer.

how cool is that?

why did it take me 59 years to be told this?!?!? LOLOLOL

I'm sure you all think I'm a bit nuts right now, and you are thinking what is the big deal... I ALREADY do this!?!? emoticon In fact I showed my son and he said yea I knew that! Seriously the little $HIT!!! LOLOLOL ?????? why didn't I know that????

Seriously there aught to be a manual somewhere where all these things we learn from each other ....make life so much easier.

Anyway just wanted to share ....IN case someone else didn't know that!

Hmmm... I think I am going to try that with DH's drawers. He ends up pulling everything out and then crumpling it up so it wrinkles.

    Thanks for sharing!

Good job on the organization, sometimes we just have to learn from others and then we go why didn't I think of that :) Yeah, I liked Castle but its a bit odd so far for me. Betrayal I was hoping for more but it seemed like the editing was a bit suspect for me. Plus the 2 cheaters didn't convince me. I read a review somewhere yesterday about that show that made me think the reviewer was in my head because it was precisely what I was thinking. emoticon emoticon

emoticon for sharing, I didn't know about that and it seems super sensible to me. I guess by folding normally you mean this two second fold?
My nephew taught me years ago how to fold socks to keep them tidy. Now I have a technique for Tshirts. What a great idea.

Yes, this is how I've organized everything, even my socks. I don't know how I would find anything without this!

If I had my way, I would start all over again and not have all the clothes I have, just the basics. A maid would help too, emoticon
