We had the most awesome seats....50 yard line row six right behind the team. BUT...talk about wind and rain. Yikes...couldn't see as the wind made the down pour blow sideways into your face. It was so funny. I had like six layers of clothes on and even then my feet and pants got soaked. We were giggling and finally looked at each other during half time and said...."what the heck are we doing here"???? So Tommy Jr. pulled out his phone and communicated with his TV at home and recorded the second half and we went home to the dry warm house to watch the second half. I felt bad for my DH who spent the money on such good seats....but he was laughing about it as well. Oh and the team won! Woo hoo!
Oh and meeting the girlfriends parents at their home for lunch before the game was incredible. They were the nicest people. We are going to try and get together again...we really got along so well. And her mother knew about my autoimmune disorders and prepared only foods that I could eat. Wonderful foods, salmon, roasted veggies, rice, spinach....all flavored with fresh herbs and such. And even gluten free delicious cupcakes. It was wonderful. We sure hope this relationship continues as we would love having them in our lives.
So today is another really wet, windy, rainy day here in Seattle. So we will be inside mostly. Watching some of our teams. Go Seahawks and Eagles!
Hope you all have a terrific Sunday.
