Move over TG!

Sunday, September 29, 2013

Good Morning; DH is back to normal. He was extremely fussy yesterday. I was so tired after the move. We had to take the truck unload to DS's locker. DS had rented a new locker which had carts that we could use and a dock where we could back the truck, too. We would load two carts and take them to the locker and I would arrange them in a 10 x 10. We both did a marvelous job and are not stift this morning. This has to do with the fact we are both more fit than we would have been this time last year. One thing about my relationship with DH is that we might have a rough day, but we talk it out and it is over. We do not bring it up again and we do not hold grudges. DS was very pleased over the fact his move was done. DS is back in Killeen cleaning apt now. DS told me his unit deployed again-two weeks ago- 3 times since he has been in the Army. 2 of them were wounded and one was killed on from a Afghan security soldier turning on them. He was upset. He actually knew one of them. It brought back memories. He was going to meet with some of his buddies to talk about it. He says he can talk to them like he can not talk about it to anyone that has not seen combat. My counselor told me that it is very good for DS to do this. Have a good day!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am glad your son has someone to talk about things. we all need a person who understands what we are feeling . life is better when we can share . that's what spark is for when we have no one else to speak . you can confess to all us what we think is our sins . ate that candy bar . spoke that way to my family sort of thing . smile we are within reach .just talk to someone .connect .

It sounds like you have a great relationship with your hubby! Thankfully, my hubby and I also forgive and forget.

Such sad news about his unit. And yes, it is good that he can talk to those who experienced the same things.

OH my God . . . I am so sorry for the news about DS's unit. **SIGH** I agree with him that it's good for him to talk to those that have BTDT. Unbelievable that they've been deployed so many times. Sad, sad, sad. And then back home we have these idiot politicians haggling over thing . . . GROW UP. Ok, off the soap box. So sorry and hope DS felt better after talking w/his buddies about the situation and glad the move is done.
