Kidney Stones Will Show You Who is Boss

Saturday, September 28, 2013

Just when I think I'm getting my health back, I am way laid by severe pain in my back and lower abdomen. Thursday was met with, "yeah, you think you can do everything...I'll show you who is boss" said my kidney stone to my body.
Well, the bike ride, and busyness of the day before gave way to searing pain, the Dr ordered many tests to make sure it was a stone, and not something else, but let me just say that I am back down again.
Having Lupus is a "funny" thing, you think you feel great so you go and conquer the world so to speak, then something else creeps up on you, just to remind you that even though you want to exercise every day something is going to stop you cold.
So, for the last few days, and the next few days I am stationary.
I am grateful for my sweet hubs who cooked dinner last night, and took the time off work to drive me to all the appointments.
I am thankful that this too will pass, and I will be hopefully back on track again.
No pity party's this time, just sharing that when things get down we can always look up, our help comes from the Lord!

    Oh Dee,
That's awful - but you are right - our help does come from the Lord and I will keep praying to Him to deliver you from your pain.
So sorry for this time of difficulty in your physical being, but your Spirit thrives as evidenced in your words and thoughts.
Hugs -

I hope it does pass. I have had kidney stones in the past, and they are no fun.
