Looking out the window and geez!

Raining and windy! Yikes, not good game weather. But the Husky game doesn't start until 4 and it's in the 60's so not freezing but chilly to my thin blood. But my DH took me to the Husky University book store and bought me a big rain slicker with hood and visor and I can bundle up with lots of clothes under neigh. And he bought me the hand and foot warmers to put in mittens and boots. So I should look funny but be fine. It should be funny. I will get some photos. I am not too bad with the rain but the wind is going to be bad. Not liking the wind.

I would never want to live here again although when it is dark and nasty outside it makes you want to cook more comfort foods and such. If I lived here again I would be a home buddy for sure. This really makes me appreciate my sunny warm Ajijic Mexico!
Hope all of you are doing great today.
Go Huskies!

Ha! With the weather forecast I stopped at the store on the way home yesterday knowing I wouldn't want to go out this weekend. I bought stuff to make a big pot of beef stew. I miss winter soups/stews in the summer and summer fruits/salads in the winter. How funny we can't have it both ways all the time.

Have a great time at the game. You may look overdressed for the weather to the local people, but just be comfortable and warm. Have a great time

Of course, you got here when it got chilly and wet after a long, beautiful, glorious summer. Maybe work on your timing! Or see if they can move football season... emoticon

Sounds like you will be prepared for the game. Maybe a cup of black coffee from the concession stand at half time might help. emoticon

Stay dry, Sallie, and warm no matter how funny you look! It's raining here too, and we really need it. Have a great time at the game.
