This morning I decided to do Insanity Pure Cardio. I absolutely loved every minute of it. And you know what? I truly believe Focus T25 has helped me with my endurance and leg strength because I was able to keep up with the crew with minimal breaks. When I did Insanity prior to doing Focus T25, I felt like I was going to pass out at the end of any of the Insanity discs. However, when I did Pure Cardio yesterday, I felt great at the end! Even though Pure Cardio was longer than Focus T25, I was able to push through and finish strong! Depending on when I get home today, I may do Insanity Max Interval Plyo!
Today and tomorrow I am volunteering to help out with the Half Ironman event that is held here in Augusta. I attended the volunteers meeting on Thursday night and I have to say, it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun! It seems like the event tries to make it just as much fun for the volunteers as they do for the athletes. Today I will be helping check in the athletes and tomorrow I will help out with the gear pick up along w/ my 2 kids and local boyscout troop.
Today is my cheat day which means I can have the Hazelnut Honey Cake I made yesterday! It took me everything I had to not have a bite of one yesterday! These honey cakes are made with hazelnut meal, honey, dairy and soy free chocolate chips, baking soda, eggs, vanilla extract, and a little bit of salt. My mouth is watering just thinking about them lol.
Today's cheat menu:
#1 Vanilla Shakeology w/ banana
#2 Rise Protein Bar
#3 Ham sandwich w/ red bell pepper and dip
#4 Sausage w/ parsley potatoes
#5 Hazelnut honey cakes!
