House Cleaning Victory and Relax Time

Saturday, September 28, 2013

I finally figured out how to sweep and swift the floor in my wheel chair. It took longer than I had hoped, and I managed to scrub most of the surfaces. I was pleased as punch that the floors looked good. The only thing I couldn't manage was changing the table cloth, so my husband will have to do that this weekend. All that to say that I got some decent activity in today.

My eating has also been pretty much in line with how I want to eat. I am enjoying an occasional half glass of wine, but to be honest, it doesn't taste as good as usual. It must be the pain meds I'm on. Oh well. That's probably a blessing.

I have a few moments to relax before I crash. Watching T.V. or Netflix just doesn't do it for me, and I am too lazy to turn off the lights, when I'm done reading. I would rather grade, but I'm too tired to make sense and don't want to have to re-read my comments again tomorrow morning. Well, enough blah blah.

I hope you all are having a great weekend! See you when the sun comes out.

I had to clean the floors because we were getting a visit from his pre-K teacher and a social worker. I guess it's part of their funding to do two home visits a year. They were very thorough in their questions. Otherwise, I would let the floors go too, but I did feel like I got a decent work out. Although, now the stitches in my arm don't feel so good, so I will have to check with the doctor that I didn't do something wrong to my arm.

Wow, you are so detained! I would just let those floors get gross. In fact, I often do, with much less excuse than that! :-} Glad you are getting activity and feeling productive, though. Definitely beats sitting around and getting annoyed and frustrated about what you can't do. No doubt you feel some of that, but you're not giving in to it. Way to go!

I don't see why you need relaxing time. After all you are sitting in the chair all day, right? *teehee*

I figure since you are on pain pills, I can pick on you.
