Two things that I am really loving this week - 1. Roasting frozen veggies and 2. dailyburn.com
Roasting Frozen Veggies
I've been roasting fresh veggies for quite some time. I think it all started with a sparkpeople recipe that roasted sweet and white potatoes together. If you haven't tried this, do it. Do it the very next time you cook. You can look up hundreds of recipes or you can take some fresh veggies, toss them with a little olive oil and seasoning. Throw them on a baking sheet and put in a hot oven (400 - 450) for 20 to 30 minutes. Our favorites are sweet potatoes, broccoli and carrots.
I recently saw on Pinterest that you could use this same technique with frozen green beans and frozen (unbreaded) okra. Hot damn! Worked like a charm! Healthy and delicious. And the okra wasn't slimy!
This is an online streaming workout video service. You can also access it on several devices (think phone, tablet, pc, etc.) I'm in the 30 day free trial and it's just $10 per month if (more like when) I choose to continue. There are several different "programs" or types of workouts. Each program has numerous videos. You can choose a program and it will set up a schedule of workouts for you to follow. I've just been kinda doing my own thing. Loving the kettle bell workouts!
If you decide to give it a try, use this link. We can each get $10 credit in their store. They sell shakes and supplements. Not sure if the $10 can be applied to your subscription.
