I got these pickled veggies yesterday, and remembered Dr. Oz saying pickled (vinegar anyway) veggies help you with losing weight. I ate some and it felt like I'd had too much salt. Sure enough, the sodium is high enough for one serving, and I had two. Should have paid more attention. Ugh! So I'm going to try to add in lemon juice and onion for my last meal of the day, since they are natural dieretics, and hope that this doesn't affect my weigh in. Ah well!

    Love pickled beets and agree the sodium can be a bummer when you're weighing in before you've had a chance to diurese.

    Cucumbers are a natural diuretic too. If you eat them before bedtime, take a pillow in the bathroom.

I read that about pickled things too, BUT I got very ill eating pickled bologna as small child,, cannot stand the smell of it or anything but actual pickles now.
