Today I don't have much to say (again). I'm still training my bangs into their new hair style. Resting, relaxing, and laughing both before and at work. I'm not focusing on food or exercise, beyond making sure I eat a bit of produce every day. I want a few days of of work, but at the moment, I want/need the money I can make from picking up extra shifts at work more. When I do get a day or two off tomorrow, I'm gonna try to sit down and buckle down some of my plans for accomplishing my dream goals and deciding what's realistic now.
A coworker told me about a Halloween corn maze thing she and her hubby are going to and she invited me along, but because I know this girl has a tendency to gossip about her work friends behind their backs and pretend she wouldn't, I'm thinking about declining and instead asking some of my old school friends on an outing. I've never asked them out before, so if I follow through, this would be a new experience and a thank you for all the times they've invited and/or dragged me along. Lol!
Unfortunately, chances are that our schedules won't match up again. They rarely do.

    Hmmm, I thought it'd look weird to go to a corn maze alone. Like a sore thumb or a person looking to start trouble.

    I think it's a good idea to go with your gut and not spend time with the woman who gossips. It's just worth the potential problems. Going out with your friends though is a great idea. Ask them and see what happens. Your last sentence is self-sabotaging, as you're saying "I want to, but it probably won't happen." That often leads to "since it probably won't happen there's no point." It's better to ask and see what happens. There's nothing wrong with asking, even if there's a very good chance it won't be possible, because just asking shows you want to spend time with them and enjoy their company. If they say they can't join you, don't be discouraged. Keep asking and figure out how to make it happens.

Also consider going alone. You might just meet some new friends if you strike up a conversation with someone else stuck in the corn maze! Being healthier isn't all about exercising and eating differently, it's also about thinking healthier and breaking out of your comfort zone. Do something different and try something new. You never know when you might find something new that sparks you to be healthier.
