Busy (but fun) Weekend

Friday, September 27, 2013

My goal this month was to stay AF for at least 15 days. Well that's not going to happen but I'm going to try to get more in before the month ends. No DD days so far, yeah!

Tomorrow the hubby and I might go on a poker run on the motorcycle. It's about 100 miles, with 5 stops in between the starting and stopping point. Also lots of food and drink specials. You get a card at every stop and at the end, see who has the best and worst hand, and they win the pot. Then everybody celebrates with more drinks.....

Tomorrow is also my sister's mom's 50th birthday party. (about 1 1/2 years ago i found out i had a sister, long story, same dad different moms) She is such a sweet heart and traveled from Washington to Iowa to spend her 50th birthday with her family. It is going to be a huge celebration with lots of food and drinks. And she is famous for making a mixed drink that taste wonderful but will knock you on your feet if you dont watch it......

It's been a very stressful month, but I'm not doing too bad. Still exercising, eating healthy, and trying to limit my drinking and smoking. This weekend is going to be a challenge, but I'm going to try to stick with water and tea to drink. And i'm making a fruit salad and pickle & meat roll ups for the party.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend
