Extreme Circuit done! Officially beginning my 4th week of Gamma today! The Gamma schedule flies by. First, because it's only 4 weeks. Second, because the workouts are awesome! I feel like every single disc works you. Speed 3.0 is great for cardio. Rip'T Up is great for building strength. Extreme Circuit is great for strength endurance and the Pyramid is a great mix to build strength and strength endurance. However, as much as I enjoy these workouts, I still feel the need to mix something in so I can't wait to get started with my Insanity/Asylum hybrid!
More exciting news! Cathe's new dvds are scheduled to start shipping today! Which means, I'll hopefully have them by next week! Can't wait to try out her new discs. Was able to see clips of her dvd's and they look
! As I type this, I realized that I made a goal to myself at the beginning of this year to not buy any workout related stuff for this year. Yeah, I will say that I have totally failed on that part.
I can't help it if sooo many awesome programs come out!! I blame the trainers who come out with the awesome workouts.
But here's the thing. Honestly, I don't spend much on anything else. I pretty much wear the same clothes I've had for years, I don't drink or smoke, and I don't buy anything else. So my only guilty pleasure or vice or whatever you want to call it is workout stuff. That's not too bad to be addicted to, right?
Today is low carb day. So far, I'm enjoying the Classic cycle. Nice patterned cycle that does not leave me wanting for much cause whenever I do crave carb or fat, I'll have it the next day.
Today's low carb menu is:
#1 Vanilla Shakeology w/ banana
#2 Celery w/ peanut butter & a ham roll up (literally, deli ham rolled up)
#3 Leftover chicken from last night w/ squash and salad
#4 Caribbean fish w/ salsa and broccoli
#5 Chocolate Shakeology
