I woke up today so sore. I feel every push up, squat, lunge, jump, chin up, pull up, row, everything I have done this week. I saw that SWEAT's workout today was upper body and decided to sleep instead. Ready to hit the weights again tomorrow before my shift at the Y:)
This week has been great! My energy level has been amazing! My stomach has been completely fine, no stress knots:) I have been following the eating guide lines in a Mark's Daily Apple 21 day Challenge, similar to Paleo but protein powder is included. I have been using Plant Fusion. It is a vegan protein powder but does contain Stevia. Only 2 grams of sugar per serving. I can live with that. It does not spike my blood sugar at all. I feel great!
The only part of the challenge I have been struggling with is sleeping. Each night the goal is to get 8 hours. There were two nights this week it just didn't happen. I had quite a few papers to grade one night and volunteered to cover a strength training class at the Y one night.
Speaking of the Y, things have been going so good there:) I love the environment. Everyone is so positive and friendly. The members that I have chatted with have left my office very excited to start a healthy journey:) I hope they stick with it. I have 4 members to call Saturday to schedule appointments and have regularly been meeting with a member for personal training. Things have been going great!
