Short term goal setting

Hello, this is just an update. I've set a mini goal. My boyfriend of almost 8 months is having a get together for his birthday October 20th. I'm aiming to shape up a bit and maybe lose a few pounds so that I can look great in a blue dress that I bought. It's adorable, very "Kate Middleton"! Just tighten up here and there, smooth out this area, firm up that area, etc. I've been working hard doing 30day shred, which even after working out fairly consistently for 2 years, still seems to be a challenge. I've also gotten in a run and today I had a good gym work out. Here's to the little blue dress!

If I remember, maybe I'll post before and after pictures!

    That's a great mini-goal!

    I LOVE Jillian Michael's workouts. 30-Day Shred is a great intro to her videos. I've also been doing a lot of her Banish Fat Boost Metabolism when I want a more cardio-oriented strength workout.

    I've also recently discovered the Cook Yourself Thin cookbooks....don't know if you've seen them before but their "philosophy" and their method of cutting calories is simple, widely-applicable, and delicious! It's something that's really helped me start learning more about how to enjoy eating well!
