My Plan

I will go going away for the next week. Since I not be home I will not be able to follow my Daily Health plan as I would usually do. These are the goals that I will be focusing on to meet while I am gone:

1. track my walks
2. track my water intake
3. track my nutrition
4. track my stretches

Have a wonderful week everyone! I will tell you how I did with all this when I get back.

    To echo MTAL203: That's exactly what I do. My pedometer registers aerobic walking only after 10 minutes of solid walking, so I try to walk at least 11 minutes every time we stop, and some of the rest stops are quite lovely. It's such a great break from being in the car for long periods. I also have been known to do wall pushups in the restroom stalls! LOL! Anything to break up long stretches of immobility.

  Having a plan in place ahead of time makes all the difference. Traveling can make it so difficult to stay on track - but all you can do is your best. When I spend 10 hrs in the car I can't get my 10,000 steps in that day, but I do what I can by walking around the rest area or truck stop during our stops. Sometimes people look at me a little odd since I seem to be wandering aimlessly around the place, but I get in however many steps I can and forgive myself the rest. You have a great plan in place - let us know how your week goes. emoticon
