Thurs 9/26/13-The needy friend

I feel like that friend that everyone has...the one that only comes around when I need something. I have missed my Spark Friends terribly. And I feel like I've drifted far away from where I need to be.
To say that life has been overwhelming is the understatement of the year. I've been working on carving out time for me, but I need to make myself a priority first. On my run this morning, I was thinking through all the things I loved about myself when I was at the height of my fitness level. I had blogged about it...need to find it and remind myself.
I have a quote on my mirror in my bedroom..."If you always do what you've always done, you will get what you always got." I know what I've done...both the good and the bad...I just need to focus on doing the right one.
I had a pretty big race on Labor Day weekend, 18.12 miles. It didn't go great, but it was fun. I have another 2 or 3 coming up this fall, so I can't slack on my training. It's good for me to have goals and deadlines.
So, to that end, my goals for October...
~drink 8-10 glasses of water each day
~workout a minimum of 30 minutes, 6 times/week (before work/school as much as possible)
~run 3-4 days/week
~remember that you can't exercise away a bad diet and eat accordingly
~get 7-8 hours sleep at least 5 days/week (school nights)
~check in with SP daily (This is SO important for me and often one of the first things to go)
And for Goals for Tomorrow:
~drink 64 oz water
~30 mintes cardio or circuit training
~SP daily goals
~In bed by 12
