Several years ago, after losing 10 pounds, I joined Sparkpeople and overtime I lost another 40 pounds. It was about one year ago that I made by last blog entry stating that I was 2 pounds from my final goal. This past year has been a year full of stress with many changes and transitions happening in our lives. It has been difficult to stay with the exercise program I was following and even harder to continue with the healthy eating I was adopting. We are still doing some transitioning, so the challenge goes on. In the process I have gained 20 pounds that I had hoped I would never see again. To get off of white sugar and white flour again would make a difference in my energy as well as my weight. I haven't been involved in SP for almost a year. However, seeing this challenge, I knew from past experience with SP that it would help provide guidance and support to get me back on track.
My commitment is to stay off of white sugar and white flour for the next four weeks. Sweet cravings can be replaced with fresh fruit. I will be writing in a journal everything I eat (my computer access is limited so a daily blog or post is not practical). I will plan to post a blog sometime each week to state goals and progress.
Reestablishing my effort to press on toward healthy eating and exercise so that I can stay fit for my King!
