Day 179 - Ankle is Improving VERY Slowly...

I have been walking a mile a day these last few days. My limping is getting less noticeable. Today I barely limped and tried jogging a few paces. Couldn't do it...sigh...

I am so hoping that I will be back to jogging very soon! I feel like my lifestyle is on hold and I am just waiting (impatiently) to get back to my program!

I gained 3.5 pounds which is so discouraging since it will take at least a month to lose. This really has set me back several months.

What really sucks is that this is perfect weather to jog in! It is cool and crisp outside!

Maybe next week I will be pain and limp free to spread my wings again and pound the pavements!

    I feel your pain. I'm sick with what I think may be bronchitis? and I'm dying to get out for some fall jogs. I also think I've stopped losing weight, but I try not to pay too much attention to the scale since it fluctuates a lot and I haven't been working out. We just have to remember to take some time to take care of ourselves so we can get back to the exercise! emoticon
