Good Morning; Yesterday was such a stressful day for DS and me. The evening before DS was at his apt trying to pack what he could for the move. Fort was having artillery training- firing for most of the evening. DS was getting very anxious so he left and went to visit a friend. He could not handle the bombardment. I do not think many could. DS took me on the Fort to help him. He feels out of place on the Fort b/c he is not strong and robust now. He has a poor image of himself. There is so many personnel that treated my DS well, but the lady civilian in charge of medical records is a little tyrant. She goes into a tirade that DS has been given 2 copes of his records, but it comes to be that he has been given portions but he had to give them to medical board and VA process. She does not want to understand this - and DS gets anxious b/c he just does not explain well so I step in. She says you will have to pay 16 cents per page. I told her no problem. I do not want to let this go any further. DS leaves the room - he is in his wheel chair. He says do you see how she treats me. She has had many complaints from other soldiers too. She has an attitude. Everything is manual. None of the medical records is digital. We go to images for his X-Rays. they are so sweet and helpful. We get the images on a CD for him. We go to transportation and find out the process for us to move him. Thank goodness I came. He says with me along every one is more professional to him. I did observe that some of the personnel that is non-military do not have much patience with the soldiers. One of the soldiers I observed was trying to explain his transportation situation and the woman was impatient with him. There were lines every where. As my DH said you hurry up to wait. I still have to go back to pick up the medical records. So that will be 150 miles roundtrip to do that in a week or two. Over all things went well.
I will be going to gym today. I have not overeaten and have watched my types of foods I have eaten.
