I have been a member for a while now, but I am just now using the page as its intended and actually working on improving and loosing!
One thing I have learned is I am going to have to learn to love new things. Just like blue cheese is an acquired taste, well for me that's sweet potatoes, oatmeal and exercise! These are things I don't particularly like and avoid. However they are good for my health and I need to love them.
I will never be a marathon runner (I suspect, as I detest running). Maybe a 100lbs from now I will love running? But for right now I walk. I actually enjoy walking and am going to learn to LOVE IT. I like the quite (I have two kids....), I like the alone time (again.. I have two kids). The problem is I cant always seem to find time to walk in my hectic crazy life!
Tomorrow I will eat a sweet potato and black beans for lunch. I am optimistic that since the sweet potatoes isn't mashed and covered in marshmallows for thanksgiving I might actually enjoy them! We will see.
I am determined to love new things. Inspire and encourage me and others? Are there things you all have learned to love?
