Where I've Been.

Wednesday, September 25, 2013

Hey everyone!

It's been a long time since I have been on here. (Here is where I don my look of shame.) Yet somehow it feels right. Like I'm back home after many years away. There's a cozy familiarity, and I'm digging it.

So I'm guessing there are at least a couple of that have thought "I wonder what Megan's been up to, and how she's doing?" If so, that's great and thank you! If not, well, that's great too. Suppose I should answer that now, huh?

What haven't I been up to lately? Okay, in actuality, I've been working a lot! I travel around to different hospitals and help them implement new EMR systems. Or take them from paper charting to an EMR. I get lots of walking which is great. (25,000+ steps is not uncommon) Just got back from a month in Bend and have been told by more than one person I was slimming down and toning up! I was over the moon. I hadn't noticed any difference, until I compared my first photo on here to one I took today.

This surprised me as often times the only meals I had available to me were microwave, lean cuisines, prepackaged salads(these were sadly rare as trips to store were difficult and didn't keep well with the long, weird hours I'd been switched to) and hospital cafeteria food. Living out of a hotel is not exactly conducive to a good weight loss plan. So no exercise other than walking and foods that wouldn't be my first choice on the list for healthier eating, and I somehow managed to do it!

This is where I'm going to start to bounce around ( I just know it!), so I apologize. My brain is all over the map at the moment, haha. But anyway, my mom and aunt both are on a new program which they've had great success with. So I am excited to see what the next few days brings as I try it out for myself. But I was thinking it would be good for me for traveling because the shakes are easy to make and much better for me than anything I could make in a microwave. Plus, save me on grocery costs in the long run, which is an added bonus while being away from home.

I have no excuse for not logging in, other than pure laziness. It takes what 2 minutes? I have time to get on FaceBook, I've got time for Spark. I'm officially going to start making the time for it! Who is willing to help keep me accountable?!

Now for the picture comparison, so you all can be the judge. But I definitely notice some definition between my bust and gut now. Yeah, buddy! And that's without trying, really! So gosh darn excited!
Sorry for the mess! Sister and I just got back from travel and she hadn't put her stuff away yet. Too excited to take the pic to wait for her to clean, lol!

Trying to take a pic in that mirror is difficult, can I just say? My chin looks more unflattering than it actually is but you know what, that pic is motivation baby!

I could go on, but who has time to read a post that long. I've been away for too many months! Hope you all have been well and have a great day!

Here's to continued success!
