It was a very blessed day today. I had the opportunity to demo-teach a lesson to my portable-mate's advisory and clocked 55 minutes almost exactly. The majority of the kids seemed to enjoy it (or at least feigned interest) and participated in the activity. Felt good!
After school I got to head to Gig Harbor to help my favorite 13-year-old with his homework and work on some problem-solving skills. Also had the opportunity to chat with his parents, who are very dear people.
Then, at the Y I had a fascinating conversation with a Navy veteran (28 years of service) and his wife as we were working out together. It never ceases to amaze me how many awesome people there are in the world. What a great day!
