Myself said to me "You have taken on too much. Again. You do that because that is what you do. It increases your stress levels, and you're gonna end up like this again"
I replied to myself, "You are right. I need to think about this. What do I want to keep on doing? and what do I need to 'delegate'?" So, I thought about it, made a plan, and now I'm putting it into action.
I am making myself a priority. Because I AM that important to me!
Ah, Ha! I hear my other half talking again. You know the drill sister so put it into action.
I wonder if this will be a life long battle - we are problem solving people, caring people, people that love to have fun, people that just have trouble saying "no" to anyone or anything. I think I should take a lesson from my grandson who I just mentioned in a blog and learn to say NO, NO, NO!

Good advice. I tend to take on too many volunteer tasks because I love doing them, but my husband gets short-changed. I'm working hard to back off from some jobs so that we have more time together.
That "N" word is so hard to say sometimes, but I have learned to say NO when I realize that it will be better for me. Selfish? No. (See, there's that word again!) It is called taking care of YOU!
