Yep I have a really good excuse for gaining weight this week. My husband, 5 of my children and I all came down with a stomach bug. I have been cleaning up vomit and poo for a week. I feel terrible and the last thing I want to do is work out or cook.
So you see I had a really good excuse for gaining weight. Good thing I didn't use it!! Nope. I stayed on plan and actually lost 2lbs this week. I didn't get to work out because I really was seriously sick. I did however stay on plan, cooked all our meals, and tracked everything I ate.
I am proud of myself for not using a bad situation to justify eating terribly and gaining weight. Those days are behind me. I was even able to make cupcakes for the kids once they were well and the KIDS actually got to eat them...not mom standing over the sink shoveling them in hoping no one would notice.
The side effect of this self control? My pants are falling off and driving me nuts. I guess I will have to start using a belt :D It will be so exciting to get down to the next sized pants but I am not quite there yet. It is coming though! I have already been picking out new clothes in smaller sizes. I am looking forward to going shopping when I get down to a size 16 (currently my size 18 pants are falling down but the 16's don't fit yet).
I am getting there!
