This morning at work we had a wellness exam. They take a blood sample and look at your sugar and cholesterol levels and blood pressure.
Total Cholesterol: 134
Blood Glucose: 86
Blood Pressure: 114/81
Weight: 151.2 lbs
Of course this isn't an official weigh in at Medifast so the 151.2 doesn't count. Also it was taken at 7:30 AM without any food so obviously it's going to be less than my usual weigh ins at 5 PM after work. Their recommendation is to maintain what I'm doing. I didn't tell them anything about doing Medifast. Can you imagine what horrors I might have seen had I not been clean eating for the past few months? Yeesh.
My boss (see yesterday's rant) had horrible results on her exam and she was mad all morning. She blamed high blood pressure on being stressed and high glucose on eating cookies and pasta for dinner. What about exercise? "I gain like 4 lbs of muscle in a week so I don't exercise to lose weight". I am not surprised. But she did say I have inspired her to start drinking more water and eating more lean proteins. IT STARTS RIGHT THERE PEOPLE. I'M SPREADING THE SPARK.
My size 8 dress pants are feeling loose so I'm thinking around 145 and I'm definitely a size 6 again. Watch out, I'm bringin' sexy back.
Official weigh in for week 11 is tomorrow night and the goal for this week is weighing in at 152.8 lbs. I feel like I got it because of my running. Once I hit 152 I will achieve my next goal of 25 lbs lost. That is the plan for the 3 Month Weigh in. Oh I'm so excited.
