Can't believe it has been almost 2 months since I last posted.
Time really does fly when you're having fun!
I've had a lot of action in my life in recent months. Lots of good action, but unfortunately a bunch of bad stuff as well.
First the bad. As it has for the past couple of years, this concerns my now 20-yo son, who has gotten himself into so much trouble, I don't even know how he'll ever get out of it. I've had to learn the hard lesson of having to let go. This is still ongoing, and somehow I think this will never go away.
As I mentioned in my previous blog, I have met a wonderful guy.
With a like-minded partner, eating healthy and exercising are easy and fun.
Back in August we spent an awesome week hiking and exploring Arizona's Rim Country. The Apache and Sitgreaves National Forests are located in east-central Arizona and contain more than two million acres of mountainous terrain.
This is what you see, anywhere you look.
Tree roots and rocks fighting for the same space.
On top of the Rim.
At Fort Apache.
Kinishba Ruins, a 600-room ancestral Puebloan village located in the White Mountains that dates back to 1250 A.D.
Beautiful mountain streams.
Awesome cloud formations.
We took lots of pictures.
And here's a glimpse at Mr. Wonderful :)
I've had to scale back on my extreme hiking a little bit to free up some weekend space for similarly important activities and am watching the scale closely, should there be an uptrend due to diminished physical activity.
Playing the fine-tuning game once again.
Oh yeah, fine-tuning, that is one thing maintenance is full of, for sure.
Happy sparking y'all.
I'll post again soon.
