Nearly back to normal

My miserable cold has morphed into a cough and is improving so I expect to be all better for our holiday weekend coming up. I did two hours at the pool and felt much better for it, though when I got home I was a little more tired than I expected to be. So I had a sit down. Then I was a bit achy, too, having not exercised much since last Wednesday. I am surprised I stiffened up so much with such a short break away from exercise.
After my holiday I am back into a weight loss phase, my last for 2013. I aim to get myself into a good position for 2014, when I will reach my target weight. This push I aim to lose either 5 or 10 % of my body weight, depending on how long I want to go for. I don't plan to be in weight loss mode for Christmas, but I plan to start up again in February.. Has anyone done a 5% challenge before? I am sure I have seen teams but now I can't for the life of me find them.

    I'm glad you are feeling better. Colds often take the wind out of me, so to speak. "they" say it is good to exercise through a cold, but man, I think it is hard to do.

    I can't help you with the 5% challenge thing. I've never done one.

    Yep, sounds like a plan. I did a 5% Challenge once but had too many other irons in the fire then and, although good, it was too time consuming for me.

    Nice to see you coming right. More of it is needed tho'. Not nice the way the Yanks are catching up in the America's Cup tho'.

    Yes , I have done a 5% challenge - I did well - I know you can do it - But , seriously you need to rest !!! Epsom Salt with Eucalypti's and Spearmint Bath - that great Magnesium works Miracles. Are you thinking of joining a particular Challenge on Spark ?? Hope you feel better - K emoticon
