Oh man... It's Monday again

This pretty much sums up my feelings on the day.


* sigh*

Regardless of how I feel, I got up at 4:30 and got in my 45 minutes on the treadmill. It was hard to do anything, so today was a walk. Then I did two rounds of situps, squats, pushups... and almost didn't get back off the floor! lol Of course, I'm still crazy sore from the kettle bell workout we did on Saturday, but I did it!

I'm trying to eat the Bob way... following The Skinny Rules - starting today. And I literally couldn't eat all the breakfast! I suppose that's a good way to start, huh?


This weekend was crazy - again. But a good crazy, mostly anyway. My son had his first Cub Scout day camp, so DH and he were gone all day and I promised my daughter a "girly day". After painting nails (hands and feet), we headed out to our one amazing shoe store that was having a teacher appreciation day and donating a % to the teachers... and she got a cute pair of shoes (it was her first time in the shop - since most of the shoes are expensive... though the little girls aren't so bad). Then we wandered around the tourist part of town (we live in a cruise ship town and usually avoid downtown during the summer) and had lunch with friends at a very girly bistro. To top off Saturday, I had a ladies game night - so it was a very girly day. Good, but busy and tiring. Didn't eat like I should... but not as bad as I could have either.

Sunday was normal craziness (laundry, grocery shopping, karate) with a birthday party thrown in too. I was SO exhausted by bed...

Anyway, trying to follow my plan today and make it until bedtime! lol

    I'm with ya! Up at 4am, off to the gym at 5am. It's a bit brutal but I feel so-o-o-o much better after, and have a lot more energy to tackle my day with. HATE working out after work, when I'm pooped, ugh....

    RE: 4:30 am... Unfortunately, with 2 small kids and having to be out of the house at 7:30 with both of them ready to go... this means I usually get up at 5:30. To add in a workout, 4:30 is the latest I can get up. Today it was NOT easy... maybe tomorrow will be better!

    I feel like that first picture today. Just can't get it together but WOW, you rocked the early morning workout!

    Two things:

1. Sounds like you had a crazy busy weekend, but lots of fun with your daughter.

2. 4:30 am?!?!?! The fact you can get out of bed at 4:30 am and do anything is mind blowing. Much less get in a 45 minute workout! Whoa!
