I was a little off this weekend with my eating. I had a really good week with only eating lean proteins & veggies. I was a able to squeeze in a run on Wednesday and was supposed to play tennis with DD#3 on Friday for a little exercise.
As I mentioned in my blog on Friday, DD#3 is hitting her teenage years hard! She had a big "meltdown" on Friday. We were going to play some tennis, do a little shopping and have a Once Upon a Time marathon. DD#1 was spending the night with a friend, DD#2 had gone to the high school football game, and DH was working that night, so it would just be the 2 of us.
She didn't want to play tennis when she got home from school and after the meltdown, neither one of us was in the mood to go anywhere after that, but we did watch Once Upon a Time on Netflix.
She felt better after her cry (turns out she didn't get a part in the play and even though she said it didn't really bother her, I think she was disappointed), but that started my "off" eating. I ended up eating a couple of pieces of pizza for dinner and then a piece of apple pie (darn the apple orchard and my mom for making pie!).
It was a rainy Saturday with nothing planned, so I wanted to get caught up on some housework. DH finished his overnight and I let the girls sleep in , so we didn't really get started on housecleaning until about 11. I got in some much needed rest and then we went to Kohl's later in the afternoon.
Sunday was really busy - we had a "ministry carnival" at church, so DD#2 & #3 and I worked a booth in the morning and then DD#2 and I ran after that. She hasn't run in a couple of weeks, but of course she didn't have any problems running 2.5 miles. I, of course, did! But I did it. She's getting ready for basketball and is also running the GloRun 5K for a friend's birthday in a couple of weeks.
I watched most of the Falcons' game and then had to leave for a confirmation meeting at church with DD#2 (while the Falcons' proceeded to loose). Both my NFL teams (Falcons & Steelers) aren't looking too good so far, so I may not be watching as much football this year!
So my eating was off, but I'm "back at it" this morning and DH is going to the grocery store today to "arm us" for the week.
I'm still determined to get back to my "wiggle room" weight by the end of October, which still means loosing about 4 lbs. Granted I didn't gain any after this weekend - but we'll see on Wednesday!
