I just read Pixielicious blog and she talks about challenging herself to do what's right for her health so that on New Year's she won't need to make resolutions, she'll already be doing those healthy things.
I want to join in the challenge and am committing myself to healthy eating for the next 99 days. By that I mean that not only will I eat within my calorie guidelines and track my nutrition every day, but that I also will be making healthy choices.
Here's my plan:
I'll eat at least five servings of fruit and vegetables every day.
I'll have fish at least two meals per week.
I will try to expand my repertoire of healthy recipes so that I have lots of things that I will really want to serve after I have lost my weight.
I will eat local when possible, because I really feel that is a healthier choice not only for me but also for our planet.
I'll blog about my food choices to keep myself accountable.
