How to change

Sunday, September 22, 2013

If you want things to change you've got to do things differently. So if something isn't working for your fitness/weight goals change what you are doing. I need to take this advice given to me seriously in many areas of my life and not just with weight loss. We really can achieve what we want with hard work, determination, and consistency. It's been 19 months since I was pregnant at 207. I lost 17 pounds directly after having my son leaving me at 190. I have finally lost some more weight and have been lingering around 170. I keep asking myself what can I do differently and not applying what I come up with or struggle with it and I am not exactly sure why I can't make the changes stick.

It's all about changing old habits and/or creating new habits. sounds easier than it it. It takes time and patience.

Try different things till you see what works for you. a healthy lifestyle shout not be a punishement. i try to add more fresh raw foods to my diet as they are not processed. that way i am getting plenty of fiber and other nutrients.

Just keep working at it, keep starting over, keep trying new things. I've been struggling for YEARS to declutter & organize my house, with little success until recently, but I just kept working at it, reading, thinking, taking a different tack, and finally I have hit on a plan that seems to be working for me, have been able to follow through for 7 weeks now and I'm beginning to see some results. NEVER GIVE UP! Be patient and compassionate with yourself and keep on keepin' on!

I remember reading that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. That!
