Today was my free day and I had a good day.
Started out getting caught up on SP. Then hit the treadmill while watching some recorded programs. 50 minutes done!
From there I went down to see my mother. She was not dressed and cranky. I made her lunch and visited, then her caregiver arrived. Apparently the woman had mentioned taking my mother out today (which I didn't know about). It was fine with me, I just wanted to be aware. They went out for a few hours and bought mums and cornstalks.
I went home and had lunch and started cooking. Made lentil soup for hubby and beef stew for later in the week. Still have some leftovers from the end of the week that will be eaten first.
I did some other things around the house.
I got over 13K steps in today and stayed within calorie range.
As far as my list from yesterday
Wash windows -NOT DONE
Watch a couple of shows that I have on the DVR -DONE
Read a book -NOT DONE
Get in some serious steps and a good workout - DONE
Plan my meals for the week and cook some of them - HALF DONE - NO PLANNING
Cut down the dead flowers from my gardens -NOT DONE
Visit my mother -DONE
Meet a friend for lunch (probably not possible as I haven't even mentioned it to her yet) -NOT DONE - Didn't even call her.
I guess this averages out to 50% complete, which in this case is a success!
Note to Val: There was no ironing in today's curriculum.
