Being overweight is something I've struggled with all my life. I'm 23 and cannot remember a time (other than when I lived in a different country) when I was truly happy with the eating choices that I made. So now it's time to get back to improving myself and working towards a healthy lifestyle. I've done it my own way now for the last four years and although I've still never reached the 227lbs that I started my weight loss journey with, I still want to keep shedding the pounds. I want to be healthy. If healthy for me is a constant 190lbs, then that's fine with me. But right now I do not feel healthy and am not making healthy choices. I need to be on top of my game.
This fall I started student teaching and although I'm constantly exhausted, I want to get my exercise routine back. There have been a lot of changes in my life recently, so it seems like the perfect time to get back into the routine of being healthy. I know in my last blog post I said I wanted to do this once a week. I really want to keep to that goal, because maybe I could gain support from other people who are going through the same thing.
So here's to making healthy choices and becoming the best me that I can be! :)
