And they are GREAT!!!
I have been doing low carb now for about 3 weeks.
I know this isn't for everyone, but its great for me. Being diabetic and insulin resistant my body is extremely sensitive to sugar.
I was struggling big time with cravings that were HORRIBLE. I was pretty much tormented by them...Eating secretly... If I knew someone was watching I was horrified.
I know this sounds crazy.
My results are amazing! The cravings are GONE!!! I was 264 lbs.(My beginning weight was 314 lbs. that was back in Feb. of 2009)
My weigh in this morning is an awesome 255.2lbs
I could just cry.
But here's the thing... I'm not always starving...
I'm more focused on "WHAT" I'm putting in "MY BODY".
However if I'm not prepared with the right dinner menu, and the right snacks in the fridge then things get REAL tough.
How do I feel? Well I no longer feel "gross"
I just feel better about myself. I'm no longer stressed about FOOD. I know what I'm doing is just what MY body needs.
So far I have only been exercising 2 days a week... That is why I'm so pumped about the weight loss. This is just crazy amazing. I mean I'm eating my favorite foods that I have stayed away from for years because of the fat and calories, and now I'm eating them AND losing weight.
I'm finding it tough to find a lot of veggies that I "like". I do love my share, I just don't wanna get burned out on my favorites.
Any suggestions would be great.
Last night was tough...I was low on "my food". I was HUNGRY...I could have listened to the enemy which was telling me to eat whatever I wanted,and start fresh the next day.
NO WAY!!! In the name of JESUS I overcame that situation!!!
I was victorious!!!
If YOUR struggling right now my prayer is that your heart draws near to Christ. That HE gives you the strength to do what is right for you. HE made you, HE knows the number of hairs on YOUR head.
And that the love HE has for "you" be just what you need.
