Half marathon recovery continued

Thankfully Friday went much better than Thursday. I made sure I didnít accidentally run into my boss because I didnít want to talk about things with her. Bad, I know, but I just wasnít up for it.

My run Thursday night started off okay, and then my legs got really tight after a mile. Hereís to half marathon recovery. Today (Saturday) I tried the two miles again. Still not great, but much better.

Otherwise, not much to report. Iím still doing my best to eat well. In regards to the boyfriend situation, we agreed to take a break. Hopefully a real break this time. I donít even care if it works out or not, honestly. I canít really explain it. But he bugged me for another chance. I guess it kind of struck home for me since Iím getting a third chance in my working environment, and hopefully I donít strike out. So I agreed to let him have another chance, while I pushed him aside. I donít want to deal with it right now. Iím wishing I wouldíve just made a clean break, but I guess I have to keep true to my word. At first the idea of being single again scared me, but Iím okay with it now. Iím here for me, my career, and my health.

I ordered resistance bands and am excited to start strength training when they arrive on Tuesday.

    Recovery? What's that? I just ran six in seven days. I will be hitting it for six miles on Monday.

One of us is doing it by the book and I think it's you.
