The Holidays are coming

Boy I tell you Halloween is around the corner emoticon and the Christmas decorations will be out some time in October emoticon and of course Thanksgiving in November emoticon . All I can think is that I am so happy that I started this journey before all the hype emoticon I am determined to make this year different from all the others in that I am making a commitment to myself to not sample every sweet treat brought into the office this year. Every year around this time I manage to gain 10 pounds by the new year.
NOT THIS TIME!!!!
I am committing to staying focused on eating clean. My Journey so far has NOT been perfect I have given into sweets, donuts and missed a day of exercise here and there. Their have been days when I did not get in all my water but being consistent is paying off. I feel healthy and in control and there is no other place I would rather be.

    Holidays are so hard, especially with the people that have the attitude that it's the holidays - why not go ahead and eat? It's great that you have your plan now.

    I hear ya! I'm getting a little nervous with the start to all the holidays coming up too...and to top it all off there's at least 5 family birthdays around that time too.

My plan is to keep a close eye on my food tracker, commit to my fitness hours & offer to bring desert to family functions (a home-made healthier desert!).

    Perhaps in the height of people bringing in sweet treats, you could bring in a healthy one to show them that treats don't have to be bad for you?
