I ask in my last blog what the Spark Community would recommend. I have had horrible trouble with pedometers. The majority rules on the Fibit. I am going to look it up and read up on it. Hubbie and I are going out tomorrow to a multiple yard sale at the race track tomorrow. We will probably go to Target and look at them. I hope to pick one out tomorrow. I am told there are 3 models. Fibit Zip seems to be the favorite of them all. So I will let you guys know when I get it and how I like it. I will be glad to be able to keep track of things again.

might I suggest something.. for the extra bit of money, get the one. it also tracks your sleep, does not run on a batter, charges through your computer and does a few extra things than than the zip. to to the fitbit page and compare them. also on oct 1, sp is introducing their version of the zip

I bought my fitbit zip at ebay. I had to send it back, cause it wouldn't stop tracking. They actually want you to sleep with it on! It is connected to your computer to track. The cool thing is that you can hold it in front of the computer , once you have down loaded it, and the steps just track right into the computer. With mine, since I got it for around $50.00, instead of more , and not from an authorized dealer that is why I also sent it back. I didn't want to sleep with it on. So, the first nite I put it next to my shut off computer. The next day it said I had 3990 miles on it. There was no way to stop it from logging miles on it. No all of them are like this. But the 2nd day, I put it in my bedroom, away from my clock, and it still logged miles.
