Day 84: I suck at keeping up

To everyone who has commented on my most recent (hah) blogs or wall... I'M SO SORRY I HAVEN'T RESPONDED!!!

School has been stressful.. but just in the sense that I'm trying to do as much as I can in this last semester. Anyways, here's an update.

I haven't weighed in in approximately 2 weeks. I was so discouraged to see on my weigh-in date that I had gained 3 pounds, and with weddings the past two weekends, I didn't have the heart to try again. Hopefully things have been better this week (we'll see) although I only made it to the gym once. Rainy weather shouldn't be an excuse but I definitely used it as one. Tried to get myself back onto healthier choices though, and I think that's been decent.

I'm running a 5k tomorrow! I know it will result in walking and probably lots of cursing for letting myself slack off on C25K, but I will fight through it. Staying on track is so much more difficult with a busy schedule and man was everyone right about HOW BACKTRACKING SUCKS! I'm trying to stay positive though.

Thank you to every one of my Spark Friends who has kept up with me and sent me messages of encouragement - I promise it means a lot.

    You can do it! Either way you do the 5k, you finish it. Jog it the whole way if you can, but just get back on track.

    I feel you on the weight gain. I went to Texas de Brazil for a birthday dinner, and it cost me almost 4 lbs of progress.
