Blood work was easier...yea!

I hate to have blood drawn anymore. I used to give blood regularly and the folks at red cross loved my veins. Well since my car accident in 2004 it's a trial. I feel like a pin cushion being stuck 3-4 times which I really don't think theirs an excuse for except inexperience of the person drawing blood.
I stopped going to one doctor who I liked because Emmy his nurse had to stick me and fail three times before she could send me to the lab in the same building to have blood drawn in one stick. Generally, they take it from my hand because they can't find my veins. Not today. This was a new person as my doctor move offices.
I was very positive but explained my previous experiences and let her know if she couldn't get my blood I would not be upset but after one try I would go back to the old lab that had been only sticking me once. She was very positive and explained to me Why these people didn't really know what they were doing, found my vein, took three tubes of blood, showed me where it was so I know then found it for me in the other arm. She explained not to let anybody tell me I have bad veins again only bad technicians say that.
Then a trip to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. I can't stop rubbing my tounge over them they feel so nice and clean!
Walked and got three miles and 12257 steps.
Hubby brought home dinner and invited me for an evening walk which I will do with him.
Great Day... Hope to have many more!
