The advice that I most wish for everyone to realize the truth of:
Don’t compare yourself to others. Every body is different. It stands to reason that everybody will lose weight differently. Even if you do the exact same things that I do, you won’t lose weight at the same rate. The key is in finding your triggers. Keep your goal in sight, and do whatever you have to do to meet that goal. When you start looking at someone else’s habits, you’re only going to become discouraged and quit without even realizing that it’s physically impossible to be anybody but yourself.
May the good Lord (our Creator) bless each of us with exactly what we need to succeed on this wonderful journey to become all that He wills!
This is one of the best blogs I have yet to read! .......... I think it can't be stressed enough ............ Not to compare but to find our own triggers as we as individuals do have them! You are so correct about not comparing ourselves to others. It's also not good to compare ourselves to our YOUNGER selves. I keep thinking about how easily I could lose weight when I was younger and how hard it is now. Patience & diligence is the answer. Glad to read your blog my friend. 1343 days ago
