Friday news (no more dwelling on failures)

This morning was a rainy Friday...but I got up and had a good workout, rode the exercise bike for 66 minutes....15 miles, not my best but ..hey I look for the positive that I do each day..

I learned when I first started Spark People that looking at the negative or what I did wrong was not going to get me to my goals.....that making a list of what went right was more productive, it was not easy at first, I spent may years scolding myself for my failures....but after a while I would run to my list and add something new....I then learned to share what was positive with my spark friends, they seemed to want to know what worked for me.....I know I wanted to know what worked for them, so I might try and see if it worked for me.....I'm silly like that....finding what works for me is still part of my journey...

Today was another bonus day, I am down 5 pounds, then carb cycling has given me the kick I needed .. eating clean and getting some new exercise can help jump start a healthy program....

So this Friday will get a big Gold star in my journal....I am proud of myself....I am proud of all the people here on sparkpeople who work at living a healthy life style, who have founds a way of life that gives them the energy and happiness we all need to have a healthy life....

Okay so I am pretty happy today, thanks to what I have learned from spark people, and my friends..

    You make me smile, I know you never stop learning, to me you are a success story that never stops. You make me realize that a person has to be happy with their lifestyle in order to succeed at weight loss. Your blogs keep me informed and help me to understand there is no end to the journey.
