We have been on a journey the past 2 weeks and it has been fun & exciting!! I am going to take you through with pictures. Some of you may be surprised at.
We left home with our 2nd home (camper) to attend a Cty. fair in IA. It is billed as the largest County Fair in the world. Don't know but it's big!! I lived in the area and showed cattle and had 4-H project entered every yr. This place is 185 miles from our current home so the 1st leg of the trip.
Had to add this one. This tractor is similar to the one I learned to drive at the ripe old age of 7! It was my tractor for a couple yrs. until the next oldest brother "came of age" and we had to share. He progressed to bigger tractors. I couldn't do some field work due to allergies so I stayed with the little one.
(A picture for Chris) The 4-H kids had all their animals there on the days we went. Lots of coming and going with open class. The Clydsdales and Persirons were gone already. The horses were judged in groups of 14 and many groups went through. We didn't watch them all.
This is a picture of my DH sitting on the tire rim of one of the tractors. There was about 3 city blocks of farm equipment to look through and it was all this massive size. We did the fair in 2 days. One was all the buildings, crafts etc (things I was interested in:)D ) The 2nd day we did machinery, homes, campers, things for DH. Long days but fun. We then began to travel again. Headed back into MN. only on the west side for a family wedding.
This picture is of the bride and groom (our nephew) Had a wonderful time with family over the weekend. My SIL (his mom) put on a feast for Fri. night and the coordinated a wonderful dinner seen below. My plate of food! I even stayed fairly close to my calorie base!!
This is my entire immediate family. We were so fortunate we were all able to go although our daughter and our one son & family had to get home to work the next morning.
Now, we are on the road again. A stop over in Chamberlain, SD gave us a comfortable ride for Mon. when we arrived at Custer Gulch campground to meet with new friends that I met through SP. We are the RVers' and decided to have a mini Rally to meet. We have had so much fun and seen so much. Even the fellows are chatting it up like old friends instead of having just met. It sounds like we gals tend to share some of our internet conversations with the guys and they felt they knew each other as well. I think the tradition that was started here this week will continue! We have sight seen, walked, talked, enjoyed campfires and tonight will be enjoying each others cooking at our potluck. And here are a couple pictures to share. If you know other on the RV team, more picture posting is being done.

Sparkers are wonderful and a ton of fun!! Another of our team came in last night and we have an activity planned for tomorrow so we will get another picture of us all!! (Hubbys too!!)
