Re Male/Female

Thursday, September 19, 2013

Thanks for the reactions and comments.

I do agree -
We need someone to do repairs - sometimes
It's great when someone does the shopping. It's even better if he brings it in and gets it all put away! My hubby used to do most of the grocery shopping and all the putting away - then he retired. I'll not even start on that.
It's lovely to have the company - sometimes.

But I tell you what - old slippers are comfy!
(And that works both ways).

My DH is on long-term sick leave but says he has retired. Unfortunately, it seems to include retirement from household chores which used to be shared equally. I'm still working full time.... and doing household chores. How do I tackle this topic in a non-confrontational way?

Yes "old slippers" are very useful - mine still makes all the meals so I can just keep up with my exercising!

I rarely wear slippers now, for some reason my foot don't get cold so I wear mules all year round!
But I have an old dressing gown I love wrapping up in, in winter!

yeah, I have a great old slipper, I have had him around for 52 years now, and lets face it, I wonder how many old guys would like a worn out old slipper like me, so I am happy emoticon but it is lots of fun
